I’m always glad to help families record and pass on their stories, but I love it even more when we do it around a special birthday or milestone. Maxine realized her Mom had everything she wanted or needed. She also noticed that her Mom was talking more and more about documenting her stories. A personal history video turned out to be the perfect milestone birthday gift!
From our first contact through completion of the project, Debbie struck the perfect balance between personal and professional. The stories that my mom shared in her video were extremely heartfelt, personal, and sometimes painful. Debbie had a great knack for putting her at ease and making the whole experience a positive one. The setting for the video was beautifully staged. Debbie was able to capture the nuances of voice inflection, hand gestures and facial expressions that really brought my mom's stories to life. I am thrilled that her stories will live on for future generations to enjoy. The video is exactly what we were hoping for.
