- The Questionnaire
We begin with a simple questionnaire. It helps us determine how to
create the best film for your loved one or special event.
- The Consultation
We meet with you to talk in more detail,
spending time getting to know
you and the stories you want to tell. We’ll also review and collect
your additional materials – photos, old film or VHS footage, mementos,
music – whatever is special to you and will make your film
unique.
- The Interview
We’ll do a sit-down interview, typically
in the honoree’s home. We take
time to light and dress the “set” for a focused interview. We focus on
putting people at ease, as we recognize that not everyone is
comfortable on camera.
- The Edit
If you’ve chosen a Special Event or
Biography Film package, we edit
your photos and movies together with clips from the interview to create
a documentary film that truly captures someone’s story. The final
product is delivered on a personalized DVD, and includes the
documentary film and entire unedited interview.
A lot of time
and attention goes
into each “DMB Picture” to make it unique. Please allow for an average
of one to three months from start to finish of your project.

“I loved
your incredible patience and understanding with the importance of this
project. You were gentle and kind to my sister and therefore, she
trusted you immediately. We really didn't know how we could
one day explain to our children who their Aunt Kathy really was. You
captured the essence of Kathy through her pictures and videos--it was
magical. We have something that we can have forever to share
with our children and our grandchildren one day.”
